An artist has to win three of five categories in the RAD Intermediate Competitions as well as Featured Artist for a month in order to be promoted to advanced artist status. I did this my first time entering a competition and I won ALL FIVE categories and featured artist of the month!

The English National Opera and Metropolitan Opera
I am thrilled to have been given the honor of creating little Ariella Juliet for an occasion of such magnitude! The English National Opera commissioned me in Janary of 2009 to create an infant that would appear to be eight months of age from the performing stage of the Opera House in London. With my background in dance performance and musical theatre, I not only took the job seriously, but, as a work of passion... I almost felt that I would be able to live vicariously through the doll that I was creating. Ariella Juliet starred in the co-production between The English National Opera and the Metropolitan Opera of New York, in their production of Dr. Atomic, which ran from February to May 2009 in London, England. I am always willing and open to create the dolls for performances and filming. A big piece of my soul belongs to the performing arts. I only hope that next time I might be able to arrange fare and tickets to the performance in lieu of payment for my work! That would be so much more rewarding to me!
